Board and Kite Africa is a kiteboarding shop based at Bloubergstrand, Table View, about 30 minutes north of central Cape Town, South Africa. Our location is directly across the famous kitebeach, with stunning views of Table Mountain. In conjunction with the BKA School, we offer kiteboarding lessons from beginner through to advanced and rent/sell kiteboarding equipment. For the non-windy days we offer surf and SUP rentals. We also accessorise your kiteboarding lifestyle with a complete range of wetsuits, surf clothing, sunglasses, skateboards and mountainboards. Currently we are the official SA distributor for Eleveight Kiteboarding, an official Airush Kiteboarding destination store and dealers for Starboard, Prolimit, Mystic Boarding and Dakine. We also sell a variety of surf/kite apparel and various other surf accessory name brands. We focus on starting or improving your kiteboarding experience with top quality products and after-sales service.
Board and Kite Africa has been running as a kite retail shop with associated school since 2003. The owners and management have been involved in the kiteboarding industry since the birth of commercial kitesurfing in 1999, and are avid and experienced kiters themselves. We have a passion for the sport and therefore sell only products and kite equipment that we are 100% confident in. Our focus is sell top quality and current products and to service our clients with prompt and efficient service, always following up on queries and providing excellent after-sales-service.
Our kite school offers courses for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced lessons. Our day courses are the most popular, allowing students to progress at a fast but comfortable pace. All instructors are IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) qualified and follow their guidelines for safety and steps to complete. We teach up to a maximum of 3 students per instructor and our school is unique in that teaching equipment is not shared between students. Our courses will give you an inspiring introduction to kiteboarding, and literally get you hooked! Once students complete a course with us, they are never left to their own and we will always keep an eye of beginner and novice kiters practising their skills near our training areas.
