Craft+Graft – Gordon Street

Craft+Graft was started by Ceylan and Ian Thomson, two global entrepreneurs with a passion for sustainability and social equality. The couple had started and managed a successful co-working space in San Francisco before. Their dream was to create an inspiring space in Cape Town that would create a sense of community. A place where people from diverse backgrounds could connect and collaborate in a homely environment. The idea for Craft+Graft was born, a co-working and event space for inspiring humans. They found the perfect place to realise their dream at 2 Gordon Street in Gardens. What used to be a run-down office building became a beautiful co-working and event space with an in-house coffee shop, purposefully designed for people to come together and drive their ideas forward. In November 2017, the first member moved in, and other businesses followed quickly. Today, Craft+Graft is a vibrant space with a diverse mix of inspiring members who enjoy the personal atmosphere and comfortable setting of the space. We offer an open and collaborative workspace for co-working, meetings, events, and exhibitions in a beautiful building. Entrepreneurs and businesses can enjoy flexible desks and private offices in a fully serviced space. We have also created a variety of meeting areas, including board rooms, casual break-out areas, lounges, and outdoor meeting space. Our members enjoy these spaces to meet and collaborate. Whether you’re an individual or part of a team, our flexible member plans offer walk-in day use, multi-day packages, and monthly memberships.
