Morokolo Safari Lodge

A boutique safari lodge set against the foot of an extinct volcano known as the Pilanesberg Mountain Range, Morokolo Safari Lodge sleeps a maximum of 20 guests (10 in each of 2 camps). An intimate bush experience with a touch of luxury, the lodge is a mere 2 hours' drive from Pretoria, and only 35km from Sun City. Situated in the private section of the reserve known as Black Rhino Game Reserve we have the opportunity to see the big 5 animals as well as many others on every safari. With the latest bird species count over 350 Pilanesberg is also a twitcher's paradise.

We offer a standard package of 2 vehicle safaris, dinner, breakfast and afternoon tea per night booked with us. WiFi is freely available in the lounge, and bottled waters are provided on drives and in the suites.

We have 7 double suites sleeping 2 guests in each, 1 family suite sleeping 2 adults and 2 children up to the age of 12 years, and 1 executive suite sleeping 2 adults (also known as our honeymoon suite).

For a self-catering option (May to August only) bookings of 4 or 5 suites will secure exclusive use of one camp, which then includes exclusive use of one lounge/ kitchen/ bar/ dining room and swimming pool area, as well as exclusive vehicle safaris.
For an up-close experience of the African bush we offer walking safaris at an additional fee, which we conduct in the early mornings to avoid the heat of the day.

We also have a selection of off-site activities we can assist in booking for our guests, ranging from quad-biking in the bush to hot air balloon safaris to watch the sunrise over the Pilanesberg Game Reserve.
