Jakkalsdraai Guest House

Jakkalsdraai Guest House offers comfortable accommodation in a modern-day, Victorian-style guest house that is situated in peaceful surroundings in the heart of Potchefstroom. It is within close proximity to the North-West University, restaurants and supermarkets in the same street, Mooirivier Mall as well as a spa.

Accommodation is offered in 9 rooms, 8 of which have en-suite bathrooms, 1 of which have a private separate bathroom. 4 of the 9 rooms are self-catering rooms: a 2-bedroom cottage, a family room, a wheelchair friendly room and the yellow room. In-room amenities include white linen and towels, TV's with selected DStv channels as well as tea and coffee facilities. The rooms are serviced daily.

In the mornings, guests can enjoy an optional plated breakfast that is served in the dining area (please confirm breakfast). Guests are also welcome to make use of the swimming pool and the braai facilities (own charcoal and R50 for cleaning fee). Secure parking is also provided for guests.

Potchefstroom is an academic town on the banks of the Mooirivier, approximately 120 km from Johannesburg, 51 km from Klerksdorp and 46 km from Parys. It offers hiking trails in the Vredefort Dome nearby, national monuments, historic museums, and is host to the annual Aardklop National Arts Festival.

Jakkalsdraai is also very close to all main / major sporting grounds of the North West University as well as Senwes Park Cricket grounds.
